Bandemonium

A day with my my best friends to see hot guys who sing and dance = funtastic.

We arrived at the House of Blues around 11:30AM. While waiting in line, we had Fatburger for lunch, despite the fact that i wanted the pasta from Pizza Hut. As we were eating, a Pizza Hut car delivers across the street. It was a sign that we could have, would have, should have gotten the pasta. Everyone got hungry around 6, so we ended up getting it anyway. It was extremely satisfying. Try the freaking pasta at Pizza Hut, it's so good!

Anyway, back to the concert stuff. We got to meet the members of Menudo before the show. Okay, confession, we didn't really know who they were. We were still super excited. I did recognize Zoe Myers and got a picture before she left. I saw Asher, Jared, and Wesley drive in:
NLT was last to arrive. They got off their bus and went straight inside. They waved though.

Later, we went to the bathroom, and as we came out, I recognized Nathaniel from V Factory! I gasped, and he turned around. I was so in awe, I don't know why. He was totally cool. He loved Grace's and my V Factory fan shirts. He taught us a dance move from "She Bad." He took pictures, gave hugs, and tried remembering our names. This was just a super awesome moment!!!! My love for V Factory intensified.

Mark and James greeted the people in line. They gave out stickers. I had no idea who they were either.

The show starts and V Factory is up first. YouTube videos do nto give them justice. They're phenomenal on stage. You can't help but sing along and scream. But I must say, the only problem was that it went by so fast and was over too soon. =[

There was crazy pushing during Menudo. Some space cleared up for a while, but then NLT came on. Somehow I got pushed from the center to the right side of the crowd.

The non-stop-ness of it all made the concert go by so quick, but the night wasn't over because there was a meet and greet for all the bands afterwards.

With all the craziness of celebrity sightings (including A and C of the ACDC dance crew), we found ourselves at the end of the meet and greet line. Time flew by since we met these cool guys who were just sitting on the side lines. They were on their way out but stayed to keep us company.

The meet and greet kind of sucked because pictures were not allowed. What is up with that policy anyway, HOB? In any case, the bands were all really nice.

From the chill day at school, to the random dancing to "Tearin' Up My Heart" and "We're All in this Together" in the street, to the sweet concert, it was an all around great day.

I had work at 5:30am this morning. My voice was half gone by the end of V Factory's set, and by 1:30am, my voice just sounded retarded. But as my co-worker said, "It's just a sign of a good time." =D

Dancing With The Stars

I don't know how it happened, but I somehow got tickets for Dancing with the Stars when the Jonas Brothers were guest performers. I was so excited when I received the email, I only approved one ticket. I pimped the system so that my mom could approve 4. She took in stray JB fans.

The set looks so much bigger on TV! I'm pretty sure this was the same stage as the So You Think You Can Dance taping we attended in June.

We were seated in the very back row.

Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough came out to watch the Cirque du Solei performance. I said hi and told them I voted for them (I lied).

Jonas Brothers sang "When You Look Me in the Eyes" (2 takes) and "Take on Me" (1 take).

After they performed, I went to the restroom hoping I'd run into them like at the AMAs. The girls inside (one was named Jamie, but spelled differently) told me JB already left =/

Back inside, I walked over to Chelsea Staub and Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and got their autographs.

The results show went by quickly. The dresses are sooooo pretty in person. They have about a million rhinestones. THey were so sparkly!

After, I got to take a picture (I snuck in my camera) with Chelsea. Picture now:
I went around to the other door and got a picture with Anna Maria. Picture now:
Tom Burgeron came out and entertained us for a bit. He called it the "best part of his job."

Idol filmed next door.

Hannah Montana 3D

Tickets for this 3D concert movie went on sale December 1st. I bought them at 12:01am on December 1st. I figured the price was the same everywhere because it was in 3D, so why not watch it at the El Capitan?

As Grace, my mom, my cousin Julia and I were on our way to the El Capitan, we tried to win meet and greets for the concert tomorrow. However, they were giving away Grammy tickets. Grace was caller 4. I was caller 5. Then, I was 81. She was 84. I think it happened one more time. It was funny, but we didn't win.

We parked behind the El Capitan. There was crowd of people waiting in line. Oh no, I thought. This couldn't be the line for the movie; that's just too crazy! The line was for the Jimmy Kimmel Show. I recognized the band that was soundchecking. It was Maroon 5! Coolness. I didn't get to see them perform live at the AMAs. I could hear the last part of "Makes Me Wonder."

We waited in line, got our tickets, got our glasses, got food, and found our seats. The El Capitan is really pretty!

There was a little preshow with activities for little girls to win prizes. Julia almost got picked, but didn't.

I was anxious for the movie to begin. When their name came on screen, I screamed! So did others.

Jonas Brothers opening set was NOT featured in the movie. What a total rip! The concert wasn't shown in its entirety. There was cool backstage stuff though. During the credits, JB cheers were the loudest!

Cool thing: I got to see the cute dancer! He was everywhere. He was the one that dropped Miley during the "I Got Nerve" stunt.

Jonas Brothers came out to perform "We Got the Party" with Hannah. They also showed "When You Look Me In The Eyes" and "Year 3000." I remember the concert all too well. I miss it dearly.

We were hoping there would be encore songs after the credits, but nope.

It was a good movie. I loved the 3D moments, like the picks and drumsticks being thrown. The hands in the audience were also 3D. I felt like there were real hands in my way, blocking my view. LOL

American Music Awards

First of all, 2007 is the best year ever. It just is.

Yes, I should be completeing my English essay, which was given 3 weeks ago and I only started yesterday, and it's due at 9am tomorrow, but NO. I'm going to write about my awesome weekend.

Thursday
I'm checking out jonasbrothersfan.com for all my JB updates. They posted something about participating in JB's performance at the AMAs. All you needed to do was email the street team with you name, age, phone number, and email. I entered. What the heck? It was simple enough. I knew I probably wouldn't get it and I had class anyway. That was about 2-3pm.

I get called into work and got off at 9pm. I get home at 9:30. I watch Grey's Anatomy and go to my room around 10. When I check my email, there was a new update from the Jonas Brothers asking us to resend our info with a photo to a different email address by 9pm. Crackers!! It was too late! I sent the update anyway.

They said they would announce the winners by midnight. I wait. 12am - no email. 12:15 - still nothing. 12:30 - I see comments from girls that did get chosen. *Sigh* oh well.

I watched some more TV. 1am - I refresh my inbox before I decide to shut down. There was one new email. OH MY GOSH. I just stared at it for a second in SHOCK.

I read it. Wow. WOW! I was one of 80 chosen out of thousands! I organize my thoughts, make sure it's practical for me to skip class and do this. YES it is! I wake up my mom. She's didn't fully wake up and comprehend the situation. I left before she could say no.

Friday
In the morning, she's debating whether or not to let me go. I mean, this was once in a lifetime, but would require me to drive to Downtown L.A. by myself. She permits me to go!

I stopped by school first to drop off assignments, you know, the responible thing to do. I took side streets all the way to Nokia LA Live. I made it alive!

We checked in, got wristbands, and then sat for about 3 hours. Someone saw them when they went to the restroom. My excitement elevated. They were really here!

They lined us girls in the the aisles. We practiced running over to the pit. The Jonas Brothers came out and performed. They were seriously 2 feet in front of me! Kevin's a winker ;] Joe is so cute. Nick.. didn't move. Haha. He was on the other side, so I didn't see him much.

This was a rehearsal, but they gave it their all each time. Yes, it was the same song performed 3 times in a row, but I love "SOS," and I love watching them perform!

They gave us the information about Sunday and parking passes. I said I was only going to do this rehearsal, but I really wanted to go Sunday now!

I kept my wristband on all weekend and decided that I really wanted to go to the awards. My mom and brother drove me. They were only supposed to drop me off, but they ended up staying the whole day.

Sunday
We arrived at the shrine around 8am. We lined up and buses came around 11ish to shuttle us to the Nokia. We did one quick run, but this time, the girls weren't playing nice. While we were running, a girl tripped and there was a domino effect. I fell too. Once I got up, the stage manager pulled me aside and didn't let me go until everyone else went first. I was in the back. There were girls up on stage with the boys. It was chaos.

Across the street, at the Staples Center, there were a bunch of girls waiting to see the JoBros on the red carpet. They were there since like 7am. Wow. I hope they got to see them.

We waited some more. They told us 3. They meant 4. We saw NLT outside. Finally, we were waiting in the foyer. Parents and guests were given TICKETS to watch the award show. How crazy is that?

We waited in the lobby for about 40 minutes. Then, finally, it's time. They bring us in. We do our thing. It's exhilirating. Joe fell but the show went on. Kevin and Nick were so concerned for their brother. That's why Nick started late. and kevin kept watching over Joe. I touched Joe's hand. Other girls groped his ass lol.

You can see me on TV 45 seconds into their act (including their introduction). I wore green with glasses and and yellow headband!

After their amazing performance, I ran over to the first row where Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens were seated. I got their autographs and Jared Murillo said hi to me. We all got tickets to watch the award show too!

During a commercial break, I met my mom in the foyer to get my camera. We jumped up and down and squealed like little girls. It was a totally awesome moment ^_^ I went to the bathroom, but didn't make it back before the commercial ended. I had to wait until the next break to go back inside.

I'm just chillin, when all of a sudden, I see the Jonas Brothers coming down the hallway. I froze. My brain was like "Say something, idiot!!" I asked Joe if he was okay.
He replied,"Yeah, don't worry."
"You guys were amazing. Thank you so much for letting us do this!"
"No, thank YOU for being here."

They walked off. As soon as they did, I started shaking and fell to the floor. The people around asked if i was okay. I'm just like "Yeah... I just talked to the Jonas Brothers!" I follwed the direction they went. They went to the bathroom. Other girls were there waiting for them. They went straight to their seats after.

The award show was cool. The stars were all there, but I wasn't sitting close enough to see faces.

I was at the 2007 American Music Awards. My family got to go too. All of this happened because I'm a Jonas Brothers fan! Seriously, I love them! They were so good and nice!

I snagged a program and a tshirt.

I saw that I wasn't crazy. There are at least 80 other girls who act like me. Or maybe I'm just not alone in my Jonas crazyness.

All right. Essay time.

This was one of the best moments of my life =D

My mom was right when I was all crying about the Knitting Factory. "Better things will come," she told me. I didn't think it could get better than that. But I was wrong. Seriously, GOD is sooooo GOOD all the time.

Best of Both Worlds

I was so excited to see the Jonas Brothers in concert.

Before the concert, they had Band In A Bus. Basically, they were recording their new album on a tour bus, and it was parked in an area for fans to see. We waited outside for half an hour. They came out and gave quick hellos. Kevin waved at me!!! Well, he waved in my direction, but that's my story. They are so awesome! They drove across the parking lot, and we followed. While they waited for the gate to open, they rolled down the windows and waved at every again. Awwww, you guys!

The concert was awesome. Grace and I tried to rock out, but there were short little girls behind us. So, we couldn't stand up or else we'd black their view.

Our seats were close to the stage, just off to the side [stage right]. Jonas Brothers shows really are music on red bull. Their set ended way too fast. I'm glad they came out again for a few more songs. To my surprise, they even stayed to take a bow at the end of the show.

I was more familiar with Hannah Montana songs than Miley's. She put on a good show too. I developed a crush on one of her dancers. He helped me get through the show.

I watched videos from the Knitting Factory. They played "What I Go To School For," one of my favorite songs PLUS they debuted a new song! At least I have YouTube to make me feel like I was there. I enjoyed myself at Staples Center though. =]

JB Tickets

Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus was going on tour with the Jonas Brothers. The guys seemed funny and cool on her show, so I bought their album. I listened to the album and then I listened to it again.
And again.
& again.

I loved this band. It wasn't long before they became my obsession.

The Hannah tour tickets were sold out since July. I remember wanting to buy tickets, but we didn't. Now, tickets were being resold at unbelievably high prices.

They announced the Jonas Brothers would have their own club show after the concert at the Knitting Factory. This was better because I was into the Jonas Brothers, not so much Miley.

The tickets sold out in less than 10 seconds, but I wasn't one of the buyers. I was DEVASTATED. I was so sad that I came to tears.

They were on KIISfm that night for JoJo on the Radio's Top 9 @ 9 countdown. My radio wasn't getting a clear broadcast of KIIS, so I had to stream it. I guess there were so many people on the server because the feed would cut out every now and then. At the end, they were giving away Knitting Factory tickets if you were caller 102 and had all 9 songs from the countdown. I call, but I don't have all the songs because it kept cutting out. I'm caller 81. I call again. They ask, "Do you have all the songs?" I'm betting I had a super sad face once those words came out. The only answer I could give was No. He hung up on me.

WHY? Why wasn't I supposed to go to that show??

The next day, they announce on KIISfm that more tickets for the hannah concert were going to be released at noon. But nooooooo I'm on the road with no near computer access!! Luckily, my friend Joe came to my rescue. I called him and he got me tickets. I was happy, but not as happy as I would have been for the Knitting Factory.

HSM on ICE

Grace's birthday present to me was tickets to see High School Musical: The Ice Tour. It was surprisingly a lot of fun!

There was a red carpet set up outside, but we didn't have time to check it out. When we entered Staples Center, they gave Julia a plastic megaphone because she was young. I almost got one... but they realized I was old >.< . Kenny Ortega was there to introduce the show. The Staples Center website listed the show as SOLD OUT. The 300-level seats weren't used.

The first act is the first HSM. The second act is HSM2. The little kids next to us thought the show was over at intermission. When they found out there was more, they kept screaming, "WE'RE GONNA WATCH HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2!!!" It was so cute.

The ice skating was really cool. It isn't flawless. I saw a bunch of people fall, but I give them props.

Snacks came with fun souvenirs: Cotton candy + Ryan Evans hat & Lemonade + Souvenir cup.
