It's corrupt, I tell you.
I tried texting my vote this morning @ 8:20am. I recieved a reply stating that voting was closed.
I went on dancecrew.mtv.com. There was no VOTE button available.
Finale Episode: On Sunday, September 20, 2009, voting will open at the end of the show and remain open until 01:00:00am ET the following Sunday September 27th, 2009. Results will be revealed during the finale ("Finale Voting Period" and, collectively with Premiere Voting Period and Episode Voting Periods, the "Voting Periods").
Votes will not be accepted prior to or after these Voting Periods and only votes applicable to specific episode will be accepted.
So why won't they let me vote?!!
Oh, and you should always note this paragraph in the voting rules:
Use of any device to automate a vote is prohibited, including but not limited to software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated votes. MTVN reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual (and remove any votes from that individual) it suspects or finds: (i) to have used a software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro or other automated online or text message entry; (ii) to have tampered with the voting process; (iii) to be acting in violation of these Voting Rules; or (iv) to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. MTVN reserves the right to remove votes at its sole discretion.
That's always been there. Just saying.

Decades of Dance Challenge
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! How could they let Massive Monkeys go after they danced to *NSYNC last week?! No more bboy champions from the west, i guess.
I didn't think Afroborike would make it this far. Their first performance was good, as was the second. But they didn't make me go WHOA.
Now, We Are Heroes' "Ichiban," WHOA. It was fire, literally.

ABDC Season 4
I think 5 months is a short interim between seasons, but I'm glad season 4 starts before school.
1iota didn't collect our privacy contracts at the beginning of the show (and I didn't feel like handing it in on my way out). Therefore, I am not completely legally disinclined to post spoilers. However, I shall not. I will update on Monday after the show has aired.
I can't talk about the show, but I can talk about what wasn't on the show.
3pm - We arrived at the parking garage. There were a lot of people--way more than any episode last season. Luckily, homies from Long Beach were near the front!
4:30pm - Check-In begins. Note: if you confirm tickets the day before the show, you might not make it on their list. It's what happened to me! But we had extras all around, so I avoided drama.
Black wristbands with happy faces.
Cross the street.
Security check. They didn't even look inside my bag.
They only had regular Rockstar. I wish they had water bottles.
Wait in outdoor line.
They played the season 3 finale on the tv, but the volume was low, and they only played it twice.
Green wristbands in first.
Yellow wristbands for friends & family second.
Saw Aubrey Storm.
6:30pm - Migration from line to stage.
New stage farther into the lot. [Location wise, not appearance]
Ran into B-Girl Shorty from Beat Freaks.
They handed out tickets way over capacity. I doubt everyone made it inside, and many who did make it inside probably got turned away.
Tip: If you have a large group, get there early if you all want to be seated together!
7pm - Almost ready to start. Napoleon & Tabitha hype up the crowd.
5/7 Quest Crew - Victor, Hok, Brian, Steve, Ryan, and 2/7 Beat Freaks - Rino and Shorty in attendance.
Napoleon got them to dance on the stage.
Victor. freestyle.
Rino. freestyle.
Victor and Rino wore the same t-shirt. They did a little somethin somethin.
Steve. flips.
Hok. tutting.
Shorty. bgirl. headspins.
No more DJ Rashida. A wise budget cut.
We were seated stage left, non camera section. I was fine with it because we were near the aisle, and I would be able to shake hands with the judges. But on this stage, the judges came out from the other side! Total waste.
I wasn't feeling Lil Mama's ensemble. I kind of miss the hats.
Layla is pregnant!
7:30pm - Taping. 9 crews. 8 acts.
Someone screamed "JC, I loved you since 'Tearin Up My Heart!"
Francia Raisa was in attendance. Again.
10pm- Taping ends.
World Hip Hop Champions Sugar and Spice perform for us.
Our bleacher is last to leave because they need to re-film the banners.
Usually, when there are celebrities or alum dancers, they book it as soon as the taping ends.
Not Quest.
They chilled at their bleacher. Everyone had to pass it in order to exit, and they said what's up to every single person that passed them.
My brother and I decided to greet them too. We went up their bleacher. LOL. I got photos! I was too scared to bust out my camera since the 1iota people would see, so we just used my brother's Sidekick.
Caught up with the fam at the corner.
I was parched and starving after. We went to In-N-Out on Ventura. It's smaller than most.
11:30pm - Head home.

ABDC Finale
When Quest Crew made the ABDC finals, I was so proud! I could not wait to go to the finale. Out of the blue, V Factory decides to have a show at SIR studios the same night as the finale! I was TORN, but I had stuck with Quest the entire season, and I couldn't miss the opportunity to see them WIN. Plus, I knew there would be other V Factory shows.
Our ABDC family decided to rock purple to support Quest. We didn't have to sign a confidentiality waiver since it was a live show, and they were lenient about cameras. Layla greeted the audience before the show, and the boys got pictures with her.
I totally loved how the show went by QUICKLY. There were no long waits between acts, and there were no pick ups to be done after.
I was bummed Beat Freaks and Boxcuttahz got to dance in the same group-- I wanted Quest to dance with them too! But MAN! The Quest-Strikers-Dynamic routine was BOMB! It was definitely my favorite of the three group dances.
Finally, it was time to announce the winning crew.
Dim the lights,
cue the heart-pounding music,
and go Mario with the unhelpful summarizing dialog.
I was nervous. I thought, "Okay fine. Beat Freaks won. Just SAY it already!"
But then, Mario said, "QUEST CREW."
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!
We were all so happy! Go Quest! There was confetti, and they revealed the championship banner.
As we were clearing out of the studio, Joe got pictures with Matt and Cara of Fanny Pak (Season 2). The judges were doing post-interviews on stage, so there was no way I could meet JC. I did see Mario Lopez. I asked for a picture, and he said yes! He was a little under the weather--what a trooper.
America's Best Dance Crew: Season 3 = SUCCESS
And to top it off, we got camera time =] Boo-yah!

ABDC
I went to the first taping on January 12th. I was really excited, but then I found out JC wasn't going to be there because he was filming a movie =[ but Kid Rainen was subbing, and the Jabbawockeez were all in attendance.
The taping was pretty straight through. There were 4 crews from the west, holla! 9 crews,3 hours of filming, plus another 3 hours of waiting in line.
The audience wave thing we did was so sick! Everyone was participating, and it looked so cool as it went around the room. The stage manager noticed and asked us to do it really fast. Then really slow. And then half and half. It's something you need to see.
I got tickets for last week, while neither my brother nor any other male friends were as fortunate. Yet, I declined them. It's okay. It was Britney night anyway. But I also got tickets for last night's taping. I figure if they give it every other week, I would get tickets for top 4 and then the finale. I can only hope.
Last night's taping took forever! Maybe I just wasn't as excited as the first show, even though now I got to see JC. They did more pick ups and took longer between acts. SoReal Cru was there and performed. I had my awesome neon green Quest<3 sign. I was so nervous when that guy climbed up the stage. It took the incident at the VMAs a while back to another level.
