Fame Soundtrack

I purchased this CD last week.

My favorite tracks are "Try" and "Ordinary People" sung by Asher Book.

I didn't realize that boy had that range. I adore him! "Try" is soooo cute. Girls will be jealous of Kay Pannabaker this fall lol.

You KNOW the most exciting part of the movie will be when "This is My Life" is performed. It's so much fun.

We gon' ROCK IT. We won't STOP IT!

The soundtrack has a very urban sound. It's shouldn't be as cheesy as HSM because the songs are all regular songs. They're not random moments of life to the tune of some melody.

We'll see how the movie goes. I don't think they advertised the soundtrack release too much. It debuted at number 90 =X

The FAME Talent Search or whatever thingy concludes tomorrow at Six Flags Magic Mountain.

& V FACTORY is performing! =]

Definite plus if Asher sings a snippet of "Try."

MAN!

I wish I could make it.

Listened to an interview on Kidd Kraddick.

Meteor Shower

The Perseid meteor shower's peak viewing is tonight.

But I can't see the sky tonight! It's covered with clouds.

All I can think about is Jason and Alex's kiss scene in Model Behavior.

I wonder, are meteors like shooting stars? Can you make a wish on them?

Oh, sure. Try. You know, you're a lot different than I thought you were going to be.

You don't say.

Yeah. I mean, don't take this the wrong way or anything. I just always thought you were a little stuck up. But you're not. I mean deep down, you're like a regular teenager--kinda the way I'd like to be.

But you are, Jason. And what's so amazing is that you're here with me and not running away.

I would never run away from you.

Really? That's what I wished for.

TCA09

I liked the opening. Yes Joe, you are cute.
Jonas Brothers opened with Much Better. Last year, Miley opened up with 7 Things. Next year, Taylor can open with Forever and Always, or someone else can open with a song about a celebrity ex.
But I love that it felt like a true Jonas performance because all of the audience shots were of fans, not celebrities.

No more Do Something award on the show? Lame. That was at least one point of substance to look foward to.

Seriously? A Twitter award? At least Ellen won and was funny.

You can tell who the winners are because they're in attendance. So, the presentation is purely for publicity purposes.

Sean Kingston with Quest Crew in the background! I adore Miley's new song. But the trailer and the pole? What are you trying to come off as, girl? You're still only 16.

I read about Dane Cook's joke about Vanessa Hudgens. Comedy.

DARE THE JONAS BROTHERS:
I was in shock as they cut Joe's hair. It was a wig or something right? His hair was still normal at the concert.
Kevin's tatoo. Cool, but totally washable.
Nick had to hug girls. Oh, no. How could he bear it?
I didn't even realize the blonde was Kim Kardashian.
I liked George Lopez's dare: wear baggy clothes.

Saw Kevin McHale with the cast of Glee. Oh, NLT, how I miss thee.

Ugh. Britney.

JB won 5! +1 for little Frankie.

Twilight won 11 out of 12!
& Jackson Rathbone was there!!!!
The entire cast was so lovely on stage.
But hello!!!!!!!!! Fox edited their acceptance speech. Something was cut off.

The show ended with Jonas Brothers performing World War III.

It was a good production this year =]

Jonas Brothers World Tour

This was a Jonas Brothers concert like no other.

I was so thankful they added a third show on Sunday so that I might have a chance to have decent seats.

When we arrived, I asked an usher, "Excuse me, which way to the FLOOR?" I've always wanted to be on the floor of the Staples center.

We got to the floor and asked another usher where our seats were.
11th row.

Right next to the catwalk!!!

Got to the Staples Center just as the Wonder Girls and Jordin Sparks were finishing their set. So this is the first time I didn't see any of the opening acts =/

Onto the show:

Paranoid
That's Just The Way We Roll

Poison Ivy - green & blue lights!

Hold On
Play My Music

Fly With Me - reminds me of the music video

Black Keys / A Little Bit Longer - i call this the Nick Jonas show portion

Much Better - flips and jumps!

Year 3000
Tonight

Gotta Find You - the riser was on our side!

Turn Right
When You Look Me In The Eyes

Sweet Caroline - a dad in front of us rocked out to this. but he was also rocking to jonas songs like whoa!

At the end of the song, Nick was on our catwalk. He removed his guitar strap, pulled out a permanant marker, signed the guitar, and gave it to 2 girls in the audience. It was remarkable. I was totally jealous!!!

Live to Party - We weren't on the foam side =[ someday, I will be.

BB Good

World War III - red lights!

Battlefield - Jordin was cute!

Lovebug - MY FAVORITE PART OF THE NIGHT!
Kevin comes out in a cute trenchcoat on our catwalk. He has an umbrella. It starts to RAIN ON STAGE! I get wet!
Later, it rains some more. I get drenched! The water was sooooo coool!
I wasn't sad about the foam anymore.

SOS shall always be my first favorite song.
Burnin Up- Big Rob!

After the show, it rained a little bit again. We hoped for maybe a performance of "Before the Storm," but they were just cleaning. We sat up on the stage and took a picture before getting in trouble.

Outside, there was a line for the Honor Society meet and greet. The band walked right passed us. I got high fives.

There was a massive crowd at the tour bus thingy that you can sign. We avoided it.
One day, I shall also tag a tour bus.

But the show was great! I'm totally biased because I had amazing seats. It was cool to be in the line of fire instead of just watching it happen.
They sounded great. I'm surprised they didn't get outwinded with all of the moving around they did.

I totally love them! This is the closest I've ever gotten to take a picture with them:

Not another..

Teen movie?
John Hughes died today. I adored his work.
Ferris Buller's Day Off.
The Breakfast Club.
Sixteen Candles.
Pretty in Pink.
Flubber.
Maid in Manhattan.

It feels like a part of high school perished.

The Tis

Guilty Pleasure debuted at number 12 on the Billboard Charts.
Aliens in the Attic was number 5 on the Weekend Box Office.

Not bad, though the album could have done better if it hadn't been postponed a month!

She's having a show at the Americana in Glendale next week. Any chance V Factory will open for her again?
